About us

It is a network of all disciples of Guru Nanak Devji, who believe in the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji. GNP is an aim to connect all disciples of Guru Nanak Dev Ji who aspire to adopt the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji into their lives. This is the phulwari (graden) for all those who believe in the Ten Gurus and Guru Granth Sahib ji and their teachings.

Guru Nanak Phulwari is an organization set up with the primary aim of increasing awareness of Sikh religion in India and the world. For achieving its aim, GNP organizes various events, Kirtan Samagams, Competitions and take up many socio religious causes and bring them to larger audiences of society through multiple ways like Use of Multimedia and Movie Making Ventures (For more picture12details, click here). GNP also undertakes activities aimed at service of humanity through a couple of dental clinics and one Diagnostic Center in Chandigarh which are run at No Profit No Loss basis for general public and Needy are served at Free of Cost.

Guru Nanak Phulwari was formed under the able guidance of S. Arvinderjit Singh Ji (fondly called Kittu Veerji). Veerji have been serving Guru ji and Sangat with kirtan and Seva for past 35 years and more. Veerji and GNP memebers have been very active in organizing trips to many Sikh religious places for Sangat. Notable among those is the yearly yatra to Sachkhand Sri Hemkunt Sahib. This year 2012 in September it was 34th time running for the Hemkunt Sahib Yatra. The majority of activities and events of GNP are held in various cities of Punjab, India with majority of members based out of Chandigarh, India. Our ever growing network of picture10GNP members is expanding very fast across all major countries in the world. Currently we have members in various parts of India in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Banga, Mumbai, New Delhi etc. and also outside India in Los Angeles, USA, Toronto, Vancouver in Canada.

Guru Nanak Phulwari is a part of Mata Tripta Ji Charitable Trust and all its activities are being governed and monitored by Trust and are in line with basic ideology of trust.
